First came sketches on paper, then – CAD drawings, then – balsa wood models, then – five real life prototypes, testing several types of roof and the structure itself. Then – inviting paying guests to learn what others might think about the experience. We knew we liked it from the very first night we spent in it, but the roaring success of ETT surprised even us!..

And last, but certainly not the least, ETT’s Ecological credentials must be noted. From the very start the idea was to have it ‘all natural’, which made the task of making a relatively light and mobile structure quite challenging. Yet it was worth the effort. Made entirely out of natural materials – solid timber, Siberian larch tiles, wood fibre insulation painted over with clay paint, metal fittings - it will not only make your stay pleasant but also will result in breathable, healthy and an allergy free space, that is not only beautiful, but low maintenance too. Moreover, timber from proven sustainable sources is considered CO2 neutral. The whole structure is low maintenance, long life, fully recyclable and biodegradable.

Wishing you lots of happy ‘back to nature’ moments! - the designers and makers of the ETT
