Which one to choose? It really depends on your circumstances and the intended purposes of the hut. Do you want to use it all-year-round no matter the weather? Is it going to be a bedroom or a workspace, a guesthouse or a utility space? It’s your choice. The space can comfortably accommodate it all! The main difference between the options and the pricing is the type of roof used, whether it is handmade and whether it provides year-round insulation. PREMIUM ETT
Premium Eco Timber Tent boasts a Siberian Larch tile roof. Our personal favourite, the roof is composed of handmade tiles that shed a natural, warm light. Free from petrochemical sealants, fillers or glues, the breathable structure is allergy sufferer-friendly. Smells heavenly on a hot summer’s day or in the spring rain! Extremely durable too, can last more than 50 years without any maintenance thanks to the wood’s natural self-preserving features. Proves excellent value in the long run.

ULTIMATE ETT
Want to enjoy your Eco Timber Tent all year round? Even in extreme weather conditions? Then this one is for you! An ultimate luxury, it comes with all-natural and eco-friendly insulation cut into panels and additional timber details ready to be put together with the roof of your choice. Features a double glazed window at the back. Two wooden shelves next to the window. Black metal fittings. Pretreated floor joists.
In addition to the insulation we recommend adding a log burner of your choice. From our experience, any small wood stove will do the job. The most important thing here is fire protection. In our trials we found metal screens on ceramic fixings works really well by creating an air gap between the timber structure and the wood burner.
It must be noted, constructing this type of hut will require some handyman skills, tools and a lot more time than a standard ETT. Still do-able in a day. Build it yourself or ask us for help. Please contact us for more information.
